Protea Place is a Toowoomba-based charity providing practical and professional support for women in need.
At Protea Place women have access to a home-like drop-in centre where they are able to access showers, laundry, meals, clothing, toiletries, friendship, and support with referrals to housing, health & domestic violence support services.
Protea Place connects and supports vulnerable women so they believe they matter. Women are provided with a safe and welcoming environment especially those who may be experiencing homelessness or disadvantage.
Women and Change are proud to support a place of safety, dignity, and acceptance that will empower women to rebuild and transform their lives.
